The Perfect Courtier- Does He Really Exist?

We read The Book Of The Courtier by Baldesar Castiglione, and in this book it describes the perfect courtier. The perfect courtier must be strong, faithful to those he serves. Most importantly, he must be of nobility, which will make him easier to represent the people, and the people will look up to him more. He must be "favored by the stars" as Castilione adds. They describe the qualities of the perfect courtier, what he should stand for, what he should believe, what he should represent. What is a courtier? A courtier is a person who is often in attendance at the court of a king or other royal personage, a member of the court of a king or queen, an attendant at the court of a sovereign. With the Ducthess, and the count asking and describing who/ or what the perfect courtier is, I will have to read the rest of Book 2 to see if he does exist.
